Josie has been playing soccer since she was four years old. She is captain and GK of the SD Surf 2008 ECNL squad. She is an explosive GK with true athleticism and very quick reactions. Her distribution is one of a kind and she loves the ball at her feet. Over the past season she has had the challenge of playing up with San Diego Surf ECNL 2007s and 2006s. She has made an impact at each level and the challenging matches have prepared her for the dynamic environment of college soccer. Her 2008 ECNL team finished the league season at 20-0-3. Most recently Josie was added to the Women’s Premier League Soccer roster for San Diego Surf. This college-level program allows current and aspiring college players to continue to work on their skills over the summer break.

Outside of soccer, Josie is constantly playing something with one of her three older brothers! Josie has been a two year Varsity basketball player at her high school as well. She enjoys reading, writing song lyrics, going to the beach and spending time with friends.
