Sophia has been playing soccer since she was 6 yrs old along with her 4 sisters! She’s had a varied journey through the competitive soccer world landing her at Surf for the past two season where she has grown and flourished from the Surf culture surrounding her. Recognized by her signature red-head band, and affectionately nicknamed the “Cheetah” for her innate ability to track people down from long distances, Sophia is a strong, speedy, smart, versatile player able to play center back, the 9, 6, left and right back when needed! In the 23/24 High school season Sophia was named 1st Team All Conference as a center back, and looks forward to having a great 24/25 all around soccer season!

Away from the field she enjoys hanging with her soccer besties getting ice cream,  batch box cookies, and laughing to the point of tears! Sophia has a penchant for fashion, treasures her family time watching movies while enjoying her father’s famous popcorn! If you can’t find her, chances are she’s off somewhere reading her Bible or some book one of her older sisters has turned her on to, or walking her beloved Boxer Nala. After Jesus Christ, much like the Ted Lasso show, for Sophia, “Soccer Is Life!!!”
